The problem with brushed system is that it is no longer cost effective to run and maintain.
For a brushed system to run really fast, you need a 9T motor minimum. A motor this power hungry requires the support of a real expensive brushed ESC. The current draw can go beyond 320A.
Brushed ESCs rarely offer “Turbo Mode”. And they can get really hot.
With the same battery pack, a BL system simply delivers much more.
