Given today’s temperature (25 degree Celcius), cooling fans are needed even when the motor is just a 540 silver can. For the motor in particular, heatsink alone may be insufficient. In fact, when temperature is above 18 degree, it would be much safer to go with fans.

The stock BT01 motor mount can break VERY easily upon higher heat from the motor. Fortunately you can use third party metal motor mount for MB01. Some plastic on the bottom chassis must be filed away for this metal mount to fit in.
