This is a typical FPV camera and video sender running at 5.8Ghz. The sender needs a small heatsink. The entire circuit needs 4V or above power input. Not all RC car receiver can supply sufficient power to it. And you need a proper mount for the circuitry. Brushed motors: 560 VS 550
The photo shows a 560 VS 550. The 560 is even longer. It produces even higher torque. However, it requires higher voltage as well for delivering higher rpm. It runs optimally at 18V. If you give it 7.4V it will run quite slow. It has a shorter shaft so it may not work for some […]
Tamiya Twin Detonator/Wild Dagger running on grassland
A Tamiya Twin Detonator with standard 540 motors and upgraded shocks. 2S lipo. In my opinion 550 motors should be used instead of 540 for better torque. The chassis is torque hungry. Running on grassland with very long grass (this time running on 3S):
TL01 based truck 4WD to FWD conversion
This TL01 based truck was converted to FWD simply by removing the rear dog bone shafts. The truck runs just fine. Very easy to control and the battery lasts longer as well.

TT02 quick and easy onroad to offroad conversion
To quickly convert TT02 onroad car to, say, a buggy, the easiest thing to do is to use wheel adapter extenders and fit the car with offroad tires. These photos are self explanatory. This version has a special 3d printed partition block added to the chassis to redistribute the location of the electronics and use […]
