In terms of performance it is almost like a modern day 23T. The motor brushes are quite unique but are replaceable. Turns: 23×1 Normal voltage: 6 – 8,4 V Torque: 315 g/cm at best efficiency and 7,2V RPM: 20300 rpm at best efficiency and 7,2V  

We have to say thank you to the buddies who cleaned up this place. At this current condition it is not yet appropriate to do serious racing or bashing but I guess it is going to take some time to get it up and running again.

  This is a simple upgrade of the front suspension for the Tamiya Hornet and Grasshopper. Marginally better than before.

By default the DT02 has a 55T spur. The motor pinion is either 17T or 19T, 0.8 mod.  

This photo shows a 3d printed spur gear (PLA) that has been used for at least 15 rounds of 10 minutes run under a high-torque 550 motor. It seems like the gear is still in good shape.

As can be seen from this photo, when the gear box cover cracks (which can happen quite easily), loose gears will result and will eventually lead to gear striping.
