A few (only a few) of the China made RC cars are pretty good but the battery connector they use is pretty annoying. For example, this SM2.54 series Multipole Connector plug looks quite terrible.
This battery configuration is rather special – it has 3.2V x 3 = 9.6V. Some special wiring for the SM plug to enable easy charging.
My personal preference – just use some good 7.4V lipo and regular deans plug instead.
