This photo shows a set of vintage 4 channel FM system for chopper. The transmitter is a 4 channel one.
The receiver is an all in one unit, which supports 2 motors and two servos (a total of 4 channels).
On the transmitter, each stick can go 4 directions.
The left stick allows throttle control via up & down movement on one channel, and tail rotor control via left & right movement on another channel. The right stick allow cyclic forward & backward movement on one channel, and cyclic left & right movement on another.
Flying a chopper is never easy.
