RC Techtip: brushed RC car losing control

When your brushed RC car exhibits a strange behavior where it will lose control randomly everytime after a short run, 99% of the time it is the motor that is causing troubles. The motor is wearing out or is under stress thus dragging too much from the ESC. This is quite common on modified motor. Not so with standard silver can. Motor replacement seems to be the only viable solution.

Another possibility is that the cooling fan is bad so either the motor or the ESC is overheated. A dead fan can be identified visually.
