Extending wheelbase using wheel hex extenders

These photos show the use of aluminum wheel hex extenders on a Hotshot. They can increase wheelbase by 20mm per extender.

To be able to use the long nut required for tightening the wheel, it may be necessary to drill the hole on the rim to make it slightly larger.

This Hotshot is equipped with 4 x 12mm(length) wheel hex adapters:

Running on grassland:

A major drawback is that it adds stress to the hub carriers and the arms holding them, making them fairly easy to break.
