If you change the stock suspension settings (damper, mounting point …etc) you may need to check and ensure the dog bones are stilling doing good when spinning. At each end (or on at least one end) of the dog bone there has to be room for “float” and flexibility. However, too much room for float could introduce problem as well. You may find it necessary to add an end pad to each side (or to at least one side) of the dog bone. The end pad does not need to be thick, but it better be made of a flexible material, such as rubber (small rubber O ring will do the job). The goal is to allow for float while filling up the empty room for preventing meaningless “play” of the dog bone.
The pad needs to be fitted into the drive socket. After installation, test spinning the wheel and moving the suspension arm by hand. If movement is difficult, the pad is too thick and you will need to cut it short and retry.
