One of the BT-01’s coolest features is that you can reconfigure it from MR to FF by simply repositioning parts — Tamiya engineered this chassis to be highly modular. That means if you ever want to experiment with tail-happy drifting or more dynamic cornering, you can switch over without buying a new car.
In FF mode, the motor and drivetrain are mounted at the front of the chassis, and only the front wheels are driven. This setup reflects a traditional front-engine, front-wheel-drive layout.
