Ball diffs are adjustable, allowing you to fine-tune the amount of traction that’s delivered to each wheel. You can adjust the diff’s tightness by tightening or loosening the diff screw.
Modern ball diff units differ from the older counterparts in that more “balls” are used to avoid breakage.
