This is our first time ever recording real bad experience dealing with Turbo Racing products.
It looks like most of Turbo Racing ESCs and Radio gears are old stock sitting in the warehouse for such a long time the DOA rate is unacceptable. This brand uses a name “Model home/Tai Bao model” on some major ecommerce platform such as Taobao to sell problematic inventories. Two batches of RC radiow bought from them this Oct/Jul were found to be defective.
When dealing with their so called CS customer service, the CS never admits any quality issue but instead repeatedly question the customer on poor handling of their defective products (even when the products are brand new never used but DOA)?
And worse, the CS keeps saying we must communicate in Chinese only as she does not write English….
The key issue is – their products will fail just by sitting on your desk not doing anything 🙁
The CS requested us to prove that the receivers we purchased belong to the most recent shipments. Without any unique serial numbers recorded they know this is never impossible to prove. They also know that our cost of returning the defective products would far exceed the losses, that we may better off just “eat the loss”…
On the other hand, through an ex-employee with Turbo Racing we learnt that the manager of the production line of Turbo Racing (John Lam) did realize that the issue is due to aged inventory….
Stay away from this brand. It just doesn’t worth the hassle. They are shipping out aged and defective inventory and the CS will never attempt to take care of any problem found.
