Grassland with thick grass can easily kill your motor and your ESC. Grassland with thin grass, on the other hand, is more appropriate (we use a 1/10 buggy with a high torque 550 for demo in the vid).

Wet and muddy grassland:

This video shows a Tamiya dual motor truck running on 550 motors and 3S lipo. The grass is very long. Battery power goes away real quick.

All trees have roots, but they are often something we don’t have to think about because they are hidden underground. When there are exposed tree roots, however, you must be extremely careful and drive slowly. NO RC car can really survive when hitting hard on any of the exposed roots.

Running on wet grassland will slow down the truck (and increase load):
