What if your boat fails to start?

>> Boat , Tech Tip - Boats , Tech Tips >> What if your boat fails to start?

If your boat is RTR with a safety switch facility integrated into the circuitry (the boat must be on water in order to start), it may produce no response after 20~30 rounds of use. This is especially true when the stock electronic is an ESC-receiver integrated unit. Seems like the safety connections oxidize pretty quickly.

In this example the FT 010 is experiencing this problem. An on-the-field quick fix is to directly connect the wires and bypass the safety feature entirely.
