When you are using a BL motor stronger than 13.5T, always check and make sure the cooling fan is working.
A powerful BL motor cannot survive without proper cooling.
Your fan may stop working due to many unexpected reasons. If possible, configure your ESC to cut off power when things get too hot.
Even for the less powerful brushed motor, cooling is still needed especially when it is placed at the rear end. When the motor is placed in there, cooling by natural airflow is difficult since wind is blocked by the chassis. You will want to use a custom mount to host a fan and keep the motor cool at all time.
