Can we use soldering iron to fix broken plastic?

As a quick fix, yes for most Tamiya ABS plastic parts.

I would first use super glue to glue back the pieces, then wait for 10 minutes and then use soldering iron to wipe the surface crack.. to be precise, gently touch the tip of the soldering iron to the seam where the two broken pieces meet. The goal is to melt the ABS plastic just enough to fuse the pieces together, not to burn or excessively deform it. Move the soldering iron tip along the seam, melting and blending the plastic from both sides of the break.

When you do this, always ensure proper ventilation!
