Running a 1/10 scale RC car in the rain requires waterproofing to protect the electronics and ensure the car operates smoothly in wet conditions. Use liquid electrical tape or Plasti Dip to coat the ESC. Apply several thin layers, allowing each to dry completely before applying the next. Place the receiver in a balloon or use liquid electrical tape/Plasti Dip to coat it. Ensure all openings are sealed. Open the servo case and coat the circuit board with conformal coating or liquid electrical tape. Seal the case back with silicone grease or RTV silicone to prevent water ingress.
