A brushless motor is a very simple device with two coaxial parts, which are the rotor and the stator. The rotor is the spinning part while the stator is fixed. You may want to regularly open it up and do some cleaning, to find out if there is any foreign objects within. And you may flush clean the inside with contact cleaner.
Don’t forget to also check and lube the bearings on both ends.
