This type of rudder configuration is common. The possible rudder range of rotation is about 30 degrees. However, because it situates closer to the right, you will find that making left turn is relatively more difficult. To solve the problem you will need to make substantial modification to the rudder. As you can see from the videos below, an extra addon piece of rudder is attached to the original one. This addon is closer to the center, therefore making improvement on steering to the left.
Using 3d print to produce a better looking addon is recommended.
