3S vs 2S on a RC car

This video shows you the difference between 2S and 3S power on a RC car. 3S is way more powerful and is ideal primarily for offroad.

This short video briefly explains what it takes to run 3S on a RC car.

The ESC MUST be cooled with a 12V cooling fan (you can use a 5V but it may break real quick)!

You will want to use 3S when running on grassland with tall grass!

Some other videos showing the 3S power!

This vid shows a 3S friendly HPI Jumpshot MT brushed version running on BMX track:

To run on muddy grassland with long grass, 2S silver can just won’t make it. You need bigger wheels, a 550 for higher torque and 3S to push power to the max!
