As seen in the photo, the screw that holds the oil damper is broken, with the broken part stuck inside the screw hole of the lower arm.

Drilling through it is not practical as it would damage the plastic structure around the broken screw.

A better way is to cut off some of the surrounding plastic so to expose a little bit of the broken screw. You want to be able to slowly take out the screw with a small clamp.

After removing the broken screw, you want to file or cut the plastic to produce a flat surface.

Finally, put in a spacer and a new screw.
