One of the primary concerns with the Wingnetic is its relatively fragile construction. The plane is made from lightweight foam to achieve agility and speed, but this also makes it more susceptible to damage, particularly during hard landings or crashes. The wings and nose section, in particular, are vulnerable, and users have reported damage even after moderate impacts.
My own experience is that the nose structure is so weak, coupled with a heavy but not so powerful motor – it would crash instantly after launch and break the nose.
Some users also have reported issues with the center of gravity (CG) being difficult to balance. The small size and compact design mean that getting the right CG requires careful placement of the battery and other components. If the CG is not balanced properly, the plane can be difficult to control, leading to poor flight performance.
The thing is, even the factory supplied manual got the CG wrong. Some say it should be 240mm.. some say it should be 280….
Never recommended for beginner – problem from day one, never fly for longer than 5 seconds before crash and serious nose damage….
