Generally speaking, there is no need to use locktite on a brand new R/C car unless the car is going to run entirely on bumpy tracks (meaning the car is going to shake excessively all the time).

Frequent disassembly can make things loose, therefore you may need to apply locktite accordingly. It is especially suggested that you use locktite on critical parts like the nut that holds the wheel in place.
