There is a misconception that a standard 540 power is not powerful enough to be hot. This is not true. Modern Lipo power is pushing the limit and a 540 can and will get very hot especially when Summer is approaching!
In this video the Blazing Star has a cooling fan for the ESC and another for the motor. The ESC cooling fan mount is 3d printed.
