This video shows how to test and find out the current draw of your motor using a multimeter. A multimeter is a very simple and low cost device with two wire leads. All you need is to connect the leads to the motor and accelerate. The meter shows the current draw when the wheels are spinning in the air. This is not a no load condition but the load is not as heavy as having the car actually running on the ground.
