Horizontal mounting of dampers

>> Tech Tip - Suspension , Tech Tips >> Horizontal mounting of dampers

Horizontally mounted dampers are not too effective. Horizontally mounted dampers that are too stiff are useless at all.

This Interceptor has all the dampers replaced with the Kyosho Optima oil dampers. Much better handling now. The key take away is that with horizontal mounting the dampers must be reasonably “soft”.
