Diff lock

Sometimes you may want to have no differential at the front.

On a standard Tamiya 1/10, you may simply glue the gears inside the front gear diff. Give it time to dry and it will work fine.

Another thing you can try is diff lock. There are free STL files available on the web so you may download and 3D-print the diff lock on your own.

“Diffed out” is a condition that takes place when you attempt to go into a corner faster. When it happens, the inside tires may easily lift off the ground. With a locked diff this will less likely happen. However, there is a price to pay – a locked diff will likely cause excessive tire wear (and extra stress on the drive chain)!
