{"id":7087,"date":"2025-07-16T04:25:10","date_gmt":"2025-07-16T04:25:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/rcpress.com\/wp\/?p=7087"},"modified":"2025-07-18T15:19:28","modified_gmt":"2025-07-18T15:19:28","slug":"tamtech-gear-frog","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/rcpress.com\/wp\/?p=7087","title":{"rendered":"Tamtech Gear Frog GB01"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The <strong data-start=\"4\" data-end=\"28\">Tamiya GB-01 chassis<\/strong> is a compact, 1\/10 scale off-road platform originally designed for the <strong data-start=\"100\" data-end=\"130\">Tamiya TamTech-Gear series<\/strong>, most famously used in the <strong data-start=\"158\" data-end=\"179\">TamTech-Gear Frog<\/strong>. Introduced in the mid-2000s, the GB-01 was Tamiya\u2019s attempt to revive the spirit of classic RC buggies like the Frog, Hornet, and Grasshopper in a smaller, more modern and agile package.<\/p>\n<p>This little baby is insanely fast even without brushless. It uses a 370 class motor (much smaller than the Grasshopper 380). It is slightly smaller but is not as small as those for hobby robots.
