A diff unit allows a RC car&#8217;s drive wheels to deliver power simultaneously even as the wheels are traveling at different speeds while cornering. A locked diff unit is not supposed to hurt anything as it simply changes the geometry of handling. However, it will be a lot more prone to spinning out in turns. There are different ways to lock a diff. For gear diff, the easiest thing to do is to use hot glue and super glue together. <\/p>\n<p>As can be seen from the video, the car tends to spin out easily.
