They can handle high torque and power without stripping or wearing out quickly, making them ideal for high-speed racing, powerful brushless motors, and off-road bashing where sudden shocks and heavy loads are common. Because of their rigidity, metal gears are less forgiving under load, but they last significantly longer and are less prone to deformation.
