The first type has a steering linkage just like a normal four wheels RC car, and the front wheel is actually steered by the linkage. The second type does not use steering linkage. The servo actually change the angle of the front wheel so it leans towards either the left or the right, causing the bike to corner. There is a pinion and a spur.
