Take the Tamiya M03 as an example, due to its unique screw holes layout, your choice of pinion is rather limited.<\/p>\n<p>However, if you use just one screw and keep it tightened regularly, a larger pinion (such as a 23T) can still be used, and the performance gain can be impressive.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/7Qq-N4bj-Ec\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>The picture below shows a vintage Kyosho Pureten EP. The motor can take max 21T pinion.
